Select the preferred cursor type
To access cursor type settings use one of the following options:
  1. 1.
    Left-click on the
    icon within the chart toolbar.
  2. 2.
    Right-click in the charting area to bring up the chart context menu, then select Settings followed by the Pointer menu item.
You can use the following cursor types when navigating the charts:
  1. 1.
    Arrow
  2. 2.
    Arrow with markers
  3. 3.
    CrossHair
  4. 4.
    Global Crosshair
  5. 5.
    Global Crosshair with Scrolling

Mouse pointer standard

  • Arrow: displays only the cursor.
  • Arrow with markers: additionally highlights time and price in the scales.
  • CrossHair: displays the cursor as a crossing of vertical and horizontal lines.

Mouse Pointer Advanced

  • Global Crosshair: if enabled, links crosshairs for the same instruments on two or more charts within different time frames.
  • Global Cross Hair with Scrolling: if enabled, in addition to having the functions of the Global Crosshair, it also allows you to scroll the chart within underlying time frames. The global Crosshair Scrolling pointer makes most sense if you are analyzing the Charts in High timeframes, but you would like to see how the market looks in the lower time frames at this position.
At the red arrow, you can see, that the mouse pointer in the chart of the 1Hr Chart moves the chart of the lower time frames.

Magnifier

With the Magnifier Mouse-Pointer, you can magnify parts of your chart, when e.g. the data series presented small and when you would like to explore the data series without changing the zoom size of the chart.
